Interview Sessions per Package

Our standard book packages come with a set number of interview sessions. The limit on interview time helps the editorial team balance the writer's additional time spent on admin and commuting 🚲.

• Compact — up to 2 sessions
• Complete — up to 3 sessions
• Novella — up to 5 sessions

Customers are welcome to pay extra to receive more sessions per package — see the pricing calculator (Breaking interviews into more sessions).

As an example, this request is often made by a gift-giver supporting an elderly storyteller who will struggle to remain focused for hours at a time. In order to create the best package and process for a storyteller in a similar situation, sales agents can offer more, shorter sessions even when it hasn't been requested.

What about remote projects? 🖥️

There is no extra charge to break up the interview time for remote projects. Project Editors should ensure minimum remote interviewing session lengths of:

• 30 minutes for Compacts and Completes
• 60 minutes for Novellas
